Sarah is a born and bred Brightonian and a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Sarah won the college’s top prizes and was also made a Junior Fellow in Chamber Music.
Whilst living in Cardiff, Sarah worked with orchestras including the BBC NOW, and toured with the Mavron Quartet through the Live Music Now! scheme. She has gone on to have a diverse career, including appearances at The Brits, the Royal Variety Performance, toured with jazz singer Claire Martin OBE, supported Ben Folds Five and has performed with Lady Walton in her Italian home. Sarah does considerable work as a session musician and is the featured cellist on the soundtrack to the multi award winning, BAFTA nominated and Ivor winning Sony Playstation game, Horizon Zero Dawn. Sarah is the orchestral contractor for West Pier Music, which she co founded with her husband, the film composer and conductor Peter Michael Davison. |
